Kansas (heart's Detention)

..Where the prairie is the family
and the water is thick blood
the wretched are just tenants
a pocket book bred love

take me to the road
of golden rod and stone
where mad men dance
and with just one glance

daft gentiles shall moan

but here I'll be
black and white
no Toto you see
broken by distance

I haven't wings
nor slippers of ruby
perverted dreams
selfish and moody

I'm my own whore

twisted tornado
of change and prism
please re-arrange
this hearts new prison

in OZ I could be queer
but in Kansas I'm just a faggot
lost in his sexual day dream
no prince, wizard, or rabbit.

he's not knocking at my door..
