In search of Eros

In homage to eros
where hath thou gone
in the driest sands
I'm heaving and stationed
poised for redundance... we all repete sometimes

heartless nobodies
a flavor of the week
a taste so sour
my pallette is weeping

as the sand takes my face from me...

My mask works better than yours...

watch me give form...

to lay with Eros once more.

mighty aphrodite
the venus of my hate
teareth down my towers
aid please my escape
here I stand stationed
at the gates of my own heart break.. again

as the sand takes my face from me...

my mask is steadfast...

watch me spread wing...

to lay with Eros twice more.

broken and defeated,
I still have my sword
its sharper than wire
cuts deep to the core
if I could have a heart

I could save a world that deserves it not.
but as it stands.

the sand takes my face from me...

my mask is now me...

watch me shot down...

to lay with Eros forever.

takemy shadow, hold in in your arms
take all this feeling, and take me sweet sleep
no more confusion, not a single tear.
pleasure and freedom are all that dwell here
buried in my fantasy, as I dive to the greatest deep.

This dream of a god, all that I can see.
Eros your glow... eternal surrounds me.
when I fly for the last time... finally free!
